About Jami A. Kinnucan, MD

Jami A. Kinnucan, MD, is an inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) specialist and Senior Associate Consultant in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. She currently serves as the Clinical Practice Chair for the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology and Co-Director for Digital Health and Practice Integration for the Department of Medicine. Dr. Kinnucan has been recognized as a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA). She is a former member of the Board of Governors (Michigan) and ACG Women’s Committee. She is active in the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation and currently is the Co-Chair for the Women in IBD Task Force and a member of the Government and Industry Affairs Committee for the National Scientific Advisory Committee. Dr. Kinnucan is co-founder of the Michigan Gastrointestinal (GI) Society in 2020 and most recently founded the Florida Women in GI Group. She is actively involved with research looking at impacts of cannabis in IBD and the use of virtual reality on the impact of pain in patients with Crohn’s disease.
